Cecilia is walking

In the last few days Cecilia has started to walk pretty well. Now she's doing more walking than crawling. You can tell that she' s really proud of it. She has this triumphant smile on fer face when she manages to get somewhere by walking without help. We're so proud of her!!!

Yesterday was our weekly strict fast day (vegan). It is always a challenge to come up with something for dinner without using any animal products (no meat, no seafood, no dairy). But I love the challenge. So I made up this recipe of gnocchi with cubed eggplants and a homemade tomato sauce. I sent 2/3 of it to the Doyles. Dominic wasn't too excited about it but he ate it anyway.
Any suggestions of good, filling vegan recipes are welcome.

Dominic took Teddy to German School an hour ago. He and Benedict are usually going to Barnes and Nobles while waiting for Teddy. Benedict loves to go there and play with the Thomas trains.
