Juliet or Juju (sp?) as her family calls her, is finally home with her family as of last week. She spent some time at Children's Hospital and then they finally allowed her parents to bring her home. Because of her heart defect, her lungs are not very strong which means that she does not have the energy to eat from a bottle or nurse so for now she is being fed through an ng tube (nasogastric, if I remeber the term corectly, Cecilia had one for months when she was little). She sleeps a lot and doesn't cry much which in a way is good because she needs to conserve her calories. She now weighs 8 lbs and is about 5 or 6 weeks old if I'm not mistaken.
I finally got to see her yesterday. She's a cutie, so delicate and pretty. I can definitely see the resemblance with Mary Tess. Bridget is happy that finally one of her children will have her red hair.
