Fr John Custer (Fr Jack) was here 2 weeks ago to give a speech to the Holy Names Society at St John's.
Fr Jack is a friend of Dominic's family. They first met when Dominic was 9 and Fr Jack was a young priest. I've always heard stories about him and was very impressed by the fact that he knew about 20 languages, including Romanian. I'm glad I finally got to meet him. He is now a professor at the Byzantine Seminary in Pittsburgh.
